Happy Birthday, USA!
The United States turns 250 years old!
This summer on July 4th the United States will turn 250 years old. There will be so many colorful parades, barbeques and fireworks you won’t know which ones to attend! A fun (and almost unbelievable fact) is Americans will eat over 150 million hotdogs on this 4th of July! Because of this milestone birthday we’ve created a few products that introduce information about our country. There is even a song!
Fourth of July Red, White, and Blue Packet
This packet is an innovation of the familiar “1-2 Buckle My Shoe”. There is a Shared Reading book, pocket chart cards, Beginning readers, several themed writing papers, and a Vocabulary Word Chart. Included are 3 Math BUMP games, math interactive worksheets, math manipulatives. BUMP Games
These BUMP games are a hit with any age student and can be customized to just about any skill level. Players roll a die and place their cube on that number. When a player rolls a number that has their opponent’s cube on it they can “BUMP” it off and replace it with their own. Placing a second cube on top of a number a player has already placed their cube “locks” that space. Now they can not be bumped off. Play continues until one player places all their cubes. Sooooo fun! Our versions always come with EDITABLE versions so ANY skill can be inputted.
Happy Birthday USA! Song and Packet
This song is easily sung to the tune….wait for it…..Happy Birthday! We wrote original lyrics that celebrate our country. A Shared reading book, some interactive printables, and photographs of some American symbols like the flag, Liberty bell, parades, fireworks, and a US map will engage your PreK and Kindergarten students and introduce them to the concept of our nation’s birthday. FREE Game
This easy to prep and play game will assist your students in practicing these L blends: BL, CL, FL, GL, PL and SL. There are 36 cards with blends on them. Players turn over a card, say the picture, and move to that space that has that BLEND on it. Go ahead and go back cards keep the play exciting! L Blends Game
