Arctic Animals – a Cool Theme to Study!
January can be a long, cold month with a lot of inside recesses….well, for most of the country anyway! A fun new thematic unit of study is just what you need to spark the learning! We LOVE learning about Arctic Animals! One fun fact about the Snowy Owl is it is the heaviest of all Owl species in North America due to the abundance of feathers it has to help keep it warm!
